Emergency preparedness training drill for all Menlo Park Fire Protection District residents is a joint training earthquake drill with residents, volunteers, First Responders, and Town officials.

You are encouraged to participate in the drill (no prior emergency response experience required) to learn more about how to respond in an emergency.

Goals:

• To help better prepare in case of a major earthquake (or other major emergency – fire, health hazard, electrical grid attack)
• To improve collaboration between the Town, First Responders and volunteers during an emergency
• To expose residents to what they can do in an emergency for themselves and to help others.

Please bring:  a backpack, work gloves, good walking shoes, flashlight, & snack, (water will be provided for all participants).
